The next Lunch Lottery of the University of Cologne will take place on 15.06.2023.
Get to know your colleagues over lunch and gain insights into the versatility of the university, where so many people work together in research, teaching, transfer and the necessary services, e.g. in technology, administration and the libraries.
The Lunch Lottery puts you in touch. But how does it work?
Quite simply:
- You register via the input mask up to and including May 31, use your UniKIM data for access.
- Groups of four people each will be formed from all participants by a random generator.
- We will inform you in good time before June 15th which colleagues make up your group and provide you with their official e-mail addresses within this group.
- You clarify among yourselves the location and the exact time for your joint lunch. You use your lunch break for the lunch lottery. However, to ensure that you have enough time for your discussions, half an hour of working time counts as a break extension for all Lunch Lottery participants.
- You will meet nice colleagues on June 15th and get to know new sides of the university.
By registering, you agree that your email address will be shared within your assigned group for this purpose. Please check with your supervisor(s) regarding extended absence for lunch. Depending on the pandemic situation, we may recommend a daily self-test.
